Located in southeast Kansas, Beachner Brothers is a family partnership whose activities include roadwork, farming, ranching, and a cow/calf operation. Believing that you only “show up to give your best,” Beachner Brothers are also passionate about their family business and supporting their local community.
Started in the 1930s, Beachner Brothers was built quite literally from the ground up by Fred and Anna Beachner, who helped popularize the Korean legume crop, lespedeza, shipping it all over the country before moving into processing the crop into a pure product.
A couple of decades later, Fred and Anna’s sons started a construction arm of the business, working on all kinds of projects from building bridges and seeding to asphalt and creating roadside parks.
These days, Beachner Brothers have expanded further, and now sells many products which help farmers across the US produce high-yield crops.
The company is very supportive of the St. Paul, KS community, and underwrites the local cafe which provides a place for community members and employees to have breakfast and lunch.
Beachner was also instrumental in the building and continued management of Prairie Mission retirement home and continues to support local school building funds, educational initiatives, and facility enhancements.
At KEY for Business, we’re exceptionally proud to partner with companies like Beachner.
